JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our team, with a focus on contributing to our iTradeNetwork platform and managing specific applications.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in front-end, back-end, and database programming, and will take a lead role designing, implementing, and supporting technical architectures Responsibilities include you will handle designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure solutions. You will use your expertise to architect applications ensuring application responsiveness, collaborating with graphic designers on web design features, and actively contributing to the continuous improvement of our SAAS platform. Additionally, this role involves overseeing designated products in our Trade and TradeSpend portfolio, ensuring they align with our overall platform strategy and meets the specific needs of our user community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and guide the building of end-to-end systems refined for speed and scale
- Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment of supply chain management solutions
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards Identify and define solution alternatives within the existing frameworks or by developing new frameworks
- Work primarily in Java, Angular, jQuery, JavaScript and SQL (PL/SQL)
- Design, develop, and support backend database systems primarily Oracle, BigQuery and Postgres Leverage Elasticsearch’s search and analytics capabilities
- Leverage platform caching capabilities (Redis) and supporting data storage
- Explore and integrate AI capabilities into supply chain solutions
- Work with UX designers and front-end engineers to develop frontend, and collaborate with back-end engineers to create reliable APIs and Microservices
- Define and manage CI/CD pipelines Deploy and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Provide troubleshooting and insights into solving complex technical issues
- Collaborate across time zones via Slack, GitHub comments, documents, and frequent videoconferences with onshore and offshore teams (India)
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Staying abreast of developments industry trends and technologies, continuously bringing innovative ideas to the team
What you’ll need:
- Degree in computer science, engineering or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in building large-scale SAAS software applications
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Extensive experience with Java technologies and frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.)
- Strong experience with GCP services (Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, etc.)
- Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and GCP certification is preferred
- Extensive experience in migrating on-premises applications and databases to the cloud
- Experience with product development and lifecycle management
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL database technology such as Oracle, BigQuery, MySQL, Postgres
- Experience in database design and development
- Experience with Microservices
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs
- Experience with Java, Angular, .NET, jQuery, JavaScript, SQL and PLSQL
- Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Excellent debugging and optimization skills
- Experience in unit/integration testing
- Attention to detail
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or GCP Certified Security.
- Proven experience in some level of software development.
- Experience in the food supply chain industry or other heavily regulated industries.
- Familiarity with automation and DevSecOps practices.
- Advanced degree (e.g., Master’s in IT, Cybersecurity, or Business Administration).
- Knowledge of additional privacy regulations beyond SOC 2, CCPA and GDPR (e.g., HIPAA).
- Experience leading digital transformation initiatives and cloud modernization efforts.
